REGISTRATION
In order to be confirmed for this program, you must complete the registration form by November 20, 2024. Click the 'Register Here' button at the top of the page. Once your registration form is completed, you will receive a confirmation email at the email with which you registered within one hour. If you don't receive the confirmation email or have any changes/questions, please contact Evi Schock at eschock@distinctivemeetingsinc.com.

GUESTS
You are allowed to bring one guest. Guests must be age 21 or older with a valid passport to travel. Your room is double occupancy only.​

PASSPORT/TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Passports are required for all travelers to Mexico. Passports must be valid until September 9, 2025, or 6 months after your return travel date. It is highly recommended that you make a color copy of your passport and keep it in your carry-on luggage. During your stay, there will be a safe located in your guestroom where you may keep it upon arrival. This will assist the consulate in expediting your return home in case of a lost passport. Additional information on the procedures to enter/exit Mexico will be provided in your pre-trip information.

CANCUN AIRPORT FINES
Mexican customs regulations only allow one portable computer per foreign arrival, including laptops and tablets. Otherwise, travelers face taxes of up to 19% of the deemed value of up to $4,000 of the device, according to the country's General Rules for Foreign Trade. It has not typically been an issue, but they are now enforcing this rule now more than ever before - so, please be aware if you are planning to travel with more than one computer or tablet.

HOTEL CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Check-in time at Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya is 3:00pm; every effort will be made to accommodate you when you arrive at the hotel. Luggage storage will be available at the bell stand if you are not able to check in to your hotel room. Pack a swimsuit in your carry-on luggage if you wish to enjoy the pool or beach while your room is being prepared!
Check-out time at Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya is 12:00pm. You must check out and get your departure card by 12:00pm regardless of your ground transportation departure time.

EXTENSIONS/UPGRADES
Any changes once your ticket is booked, upgrades, or costs associated with deviating from group travel dates will be at the traveler's expense. Flight seat upgrades or extensions are non-refundable per the airlines. All payments must be received before any upgrades or extensions will be confirmed. Please indicate any special requests on the registration form.

CLIMATE
Riviera Maya temperatures in March have an average high of 80 degrees and an average low of 70 degrees.
​
TIME ZONE

CELL PHONES
You are encouraged to contact your mobile service provider to understand additional costs and available international packages while you are in Mexico.

INCIDENTALS
Upon check-in at the hotel, you will be asked to present a credit card to cover any incidental charges that may occur during your stay (e.g. telephone calls, laundry, movie, gift shop, etc.). The hotel will put a temporary hold of $500 on your card that will eventually be refunded back into your account. They ask that you settle all incidental charges the night before check-out to ensure a quick and efficient check-out process.
